Soccer,
or football as it is commonly known, is a game that started in European
countries decades ago and slowly spread all over the world when people from
these countries migrated to other countries. They took the game with them and
taught it to locals who were soon playing the game with huge enthusiasm. The
popularity of the game became so big that countries started participating in
matches to prove that they were better players of the game than others. Other
countries joined, and soon the people of the world became witness to an
international competition that involved more than 150
countries all over the world.
Manufacturer of Equipment
The
game became rougher as time passed with players getting seriously injured
during the games. Various companies that make sports goods started
manufacturing the equipment required for this game. The design of the equipment
took in special requirements of great players of the game. The equipment,
including the CR7 cleats became
world famous as they carried the names of some of the greatest players of the
game. Many sports shops started selling the items in the equipment to
individual players and clubs all over the country. Even the fans became
interested in buying the items carrying the names of their favorite players to
keep them as souvenirs.
Special Shoe Design
The
players needed an extra grip on the ground while running with the ball and
during the execution of dexterous moves for which they were famous. Special
shoes such as the Messi shoes were
designed to provide this extra grip. Some shoes had ridges on the soles while
others had spikes. The spikes were small mounds of leather which tapered off to
a fine point. The spikes on the shoes provided the players with a solid grip on
the ground during their movements. But they are dangerous also as they can
cause injury to the opponents feet during tackles.
Distinguishing Between Teams
The
game of soccer is very fast and is played on a big area that constitutes the
football field. There is a large set of rules that the players have to adhere
to during the game. The referee is the only person on the field who can oversee
the game and determine whether the players are playing the game fairly or not.
The players of the two teams playing the game are distinguished by the referee
with the help of their soccer uniforms.
Each member of the team has to wear the specific colors of the team that is
represented on the field. The uniforms are customized by various companies for
each team.
