Soccer players including forwards, backs and keeper require a good amount of stamina and strength. Apart from practice sessions you may also go for practice weight sessions that will enhance your stamina, strength, speed and agility over the due course of time. You will be a lot more fitter for your real matches if you go for these training sessions regularly. Your on-felid stamina will improve and you will be able to jump to higher levels and run faster. Weight training is as important as training sessions and should be regularly done for being a better player.

You can choose one that fits your size. The apparels also provide for the lower amount of distractions during playtime. The customizable, lightweight soccer apparels are even comfortable to wear.

Weight training sessions that are conducted using medicine balls strengthen you core muscles. With better core muscles, you can switch directions during playtime and have striking power. Core training with medicine ball also provides for more accurate throw-ins and much better header jumps.
Weight Training Exercises with medicine balls
There are many kinds of weight training exercises that can be done suing medicine balls.
Seated partner ball twist
The exercise is done while sitting on the floor. The medicine ball is passed back and forth to the training partner. You need to sit as tall as you could while doing the exercise. The medicine ball is to be held at chest height and passed to the partner. The exercise should be done for both right and left sections of the body.
Weighted Squat Training
Squat exercises are very beneficial for the core and lower limbs of the body though they exercise the upper limb of the body as well. The exercise develops your core, leg and other muscles in a lesser amount of time.
Medicine Ball Rotation
The exercise involves lunging towards right and then left while holding the medicine ball. The ball has to be held at chest height.
You can also use other soccer gear like a soccer ball for squat training purposes. You should cool down between sessions so that body does not over exhausts itself.  By complying with these training manuals and schedule, you can fit into your soccer gear and apparel more easily and would be a much better player in the long run.
